Warm and soft to the touch, wool is widely used in the home linen sector, especially in the bedroom. It is a natural fibre obtained mainly from sheep and goat hair. It has high thermal and insulation capacity and is ideal for retaining heat and keeping out cold and damp. The insulation capacity is so high that wool fabrics are perfectly able to insulate from heat too. It may seem paradoxical but wool can, in fact, be used for heat insulation: some African populations use wool to protect themselves from the heat.
In addition to clothing, wool is widely used in the home furnishing sector, for example in cushion and mattress padding.
Dea uses woolen fabric in many of their collections, even in the most exclusive, especially for the bedroom.
